Since it's decommissioning as a U.S. Highway in 1985, Americans are looking back in time to the old road that defined our past, and will also define our future. Route 66 is known worldwide as "The only way to see the Real America". Tens of thousands of travelers from around the globe are cruising the Mother Road for the first time in years, and often for the first time ever. It is this commerce that encourages the restoration and preservation of the "Icons and Attractions" of the past eighty-five years, and there is plenty of room for everyone to join in that effort!" Membership is open to any individual, business owner, Route 66 organization, private sponsor or benefactor who supports the mission of our Chamber. Because of the diverse financial nature of Route 66 businesses and supporters, there is a very affordable membership fee for business and individual members, and non-profit organizations receive free membership in the Chamber. The Chamber depends on membership dues and related member advertising revenues to carry-out it's mission.

Operating expenses for the Chamber include the production costs of it's website(s), membership certificates, downloadable promotional materials, research, printing, photography & video production, website and office expenses, telephone and postage costs, travel & exhibiting expenses, etc.. Without your support, the Chamber would be unable to promote Route 66 Commerce and to help save endangered properties.
Our updated Facebook Page will provide our members with progress updates, promotional efforts taken and planned, and what the Chamber is accomplishing with your help.
TYPES of MEMBERSHIP
Individual and Student Members are typically those who may not wish to receive website advertising as part of their membership. Annual memberships are only $66.
Business Members are those who receive promotional Links and Display Advertising in the Chamber's website in exchange for their annual Membership fee of $166., and will receive a "paid" invoice from the Chamber for tax-deduction purposes. We will also hand-out your brochures, business cards, etc when we make presentations if you so desire.
If you are interested in joining the Route 66 Chamber of Commerce, you may submit your dues below via. PayPal, using a Credit or Debit card or your own PayPal account once you have completed and e-mailed us the MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION (or mail to us at Route 66 Chamber, P.O. Box 350, Carthage, MO. 64836).
You may also pay by check, enclosing it with the MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION and mailing to us at the address in the above. Once we receive your application, we will contact you personally to confirm your information and answer any questions you may have. Your Membership kit with the Membership Certificate will be sent to you right away.
All Membership Kits will include the following:
1. A membership certificate with your (or your business) name suitable for framing.
2. A packet of Chamber business cards.
3. Special discount offers may be offered by other Chamber businesses to Chamber members.
